Experimenting at "Abracadabra"

Participants at the T/TAS Training, Abracadabra! The Magic of Everyday Math, Science and CLASS Instructional Support in Boosting Child Outcomes, recently had fun with an experiment that forms a gas from a liquid (vinegar) and solid (baking soda).

Parker Stallings, a first-year student in Professional Legal Studies and English, has been selected for the highly competitive Fulbright US-UK Summer Institutes. Parker will study in a fully-funded three-week program at the University of Bristol.

WKU senior Molly Parker Robinson of Benton will use a $50,000 Rotary Foundation Global Grant Scholarship to pursue a master’s degree in the France and the United Kingdom after graduating.

WKU student Ralphy Gardner of Todd County was named a 2023 Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Graduate Fellow. He is one of 45 fellows selected nationwide and only the third WKU student to earn this honor, the second in two years.
