Please review our FAQs. If you have additional questions, contact Cameron Carr-Calvert.
Q: Will I always shadow a doctor?
A: No, you will shadow a variety of healthcare providers. We strongly believe that shadowing a variety of health professionals will be beneficial to you.
Q: Do I get to assist with procedures?
No, you are not allowed to assist with any procedures. You are only there to observe.
Q: What do I do if the department I am supposed to shadow doesn’t have any procedures today?
A: This happens occasionally, especially with Friday and afternoon shifts. If this does happen, ask if there is someone else in the department you could shadow or if you can shadow in a different department.

"I would absolutely recommend this experience to another student. It has been very helpful and educating. I have enjoyed getting to know more about the hospital and its employees."
